This film is an intimate exploration of the band members, their music and their creative process. The Klezmatics’ holy ground is where a Quaker bassist and Reform Jewish trumpeter, Yiddish language, Hasidic dance, gospel music and Woody Guthrie meet. The band  has made numerous television and radio appearances, including PBS’s Great Performances series with Itzhak Perlman and on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on NPR.
