Sarah Portilla, Program Coordinator
Sarah is responsible for the programming of the Rutgers Jewish Film Festival and the Herbert and Leonard Littman Families Holocaust Resource Center, which link Rutgers to the broader community through their educational mission. She has worked in the field of community engagement, programming, and higher education since she began her career more than sixteen years ago. Sarah worked for Hillel, where she received the Richard M. Joel Exemplar of Excellence Award, and she also served on the board of JPRO New Jersey after receiving the organization’s Leo Brody Jewish Communal Service Award. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice.
