Set in Paris in the summer of 1942, Irene is an exuberant 19-year-old aspiring actress. Her world is filled with friends, theater, and new love. While her father contemplates defying new restrictions for Jewish residents, Irene’s carefree world starts to change. Sandrine Kiberlain, makes her directorial feature film debut with a story of self discovery on the brink of change in Nazi-occupied France.
