Vered Vinitzky-Seroussi is Associate Professor of Sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her publications include a book on American Culture (After Pomp and Circumstance: High School Reunion as an Autobiographical Occasion, University of Chicago Press, 1998), a book on the Sociology of Commemoration (Yitzhak Rabin Assassination and the Dilemmas of Commemoration, State University of New York 2009), and a reader on Collective Memory (with Jeffrey K. Olick and Daniel Levy, Oxford University Press, forthcoming).
