Holocaust Educators' Testimonials:

Myriam Benhamou, an educator from Strasbourg, France, teaches high school English as a foreign language and works with her school’s history teacher to teach the Holocaust. She first attended the “History of the Holocaust” five-day mini-course in 2018. She then returned for the advanced seminar during the summer of 2019, which included “Memory and Memory Practices” with Professors James E. Young and Yael Zerubavel, and “The Holocaust as Seen through Comics, Graphic Novels, and Literature” presented by Professor Barbara Mann. During the summer of 2020, Benhamou participated online in both the beginner seminar, “History of the Holocaust: Resilience and Rescue,” and the advanced seminar, “Media and Migration in Uncertain Times.”
